David has enjoyed diverse opportunities in both his personal life and professional career, which have culminated in a unique passion for home inspections.
David’s journey has included successful roles in customer service, sales, and management for a national flooring retailer; home renovations; kitchen and bath renovations; and insurance adjusting for property loss claims. Each of these experiences presented David with new perspectives that became the foundational building blocks which helped shape who he is today. David approaches home inspections with thoroughness, a keen attention to detail, and integrity. He operates by defined processes created to adhere to applicable standards of practice and a dedication to safety.
If you ask David why being a licensed home inspector has become his passion, he will tell you that he loves to “reveal the story that the home is telling him”. David finds great joy and satisfaction being out in the field each day, meeting new people, and introducing them to the detailed facets of the home he is inspecting. Though he approaches each situation with urgency, you will meet a calm communicator who takes pride in being clear in every detail he provides.

Amy Baker

Amy enjoyed a successful and rewarding 24-year Human Resources career in Corporate America before embarking on the next step in her life’s journey as co-owner of LifeHouse Home Inspections. Amy is a customer service enthusiast who goes above and beyond to ensure needs are met or exceeded. She is an avid listener and enthusiastic communicator who truly loves getting to know people. Her attention to detail is quite impeccable, with an extreme need to ensure that I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed. She is a born helper and well suited to being the person on the other end of the phone/email/text and managing behind the scenes activities of LifeHouse Home Inspections.

As well as being business partners, the Bakers are married, the proud parents of Robert and Jessica, and the family shares their home with 3 large and lovable dogs. David and Amy are self-proclaimed foodies with a passion for cooking, grilling, smoking BBQ, and baking.
